Amitabh Joshi

Amitabh Joshi is a director and cinematographer. Amitabh served as co-producer and co-cinematographer on the documentary feature A Little Wisdom which had its US Premiere at The SxSW film festival in 2018. In 2016 Amitabh was accepted into Lincoln Center Film Society’s Artist Academy at the 2016 New York Film Festival where he received mentorship and was recognized for his work in the field thus far. Amitabh was awarded the Princess Grace JustFilms Grant in 2012, The Shelley and Donald Rubin Foundation grant in 2013, and Center for Asian American Media Documentary Fund in 2014. Tashi’s Turbine, his first feature-length documentary film, has been screened at festivals worldwide, premiered on PBS’s The WORLD Channel, and is available for educational distribution through Documentary Educational Resources (DER). Amitabh has worked as a cinematographer for Art21 and numerous documentaries across the globe.

Erik Spink

Erik Spink directs and produces films, television, and commercial campaigns. His work has been been featured at The MoMA, film festivals, and been broadcast world wide. Erik serves as Head of Development for Vacant Light. He produced Vacant Light’s first feature documenatry, Tashi’s Turbine which premiered in 2015 and was broadcast on PBS’s The WORLD Channel. In 2016 Erik was the recipient of the A&E Indie Films Grant at the Paley Center For Media Documentary Pitch Forum for the forthcoming documentary Hart Island. In 2017, Erik was an Impact Partners Producing fellow. In 2018, Erik was awarded for excellence in documentary film by The Bronx Council On The Arts and funded by New York State Council on the Arts. In 2019, Erik was produced and co-directed for American Master's and Firelight Media's new series In The Making.
